Your next steps for Hoosier Link
We are excited to welcome admitted students and families into the Hoosier Link program, and we are here to support you as you make the transition! Be sure to review all the tasks and deadlines below.
Take time to read Hoosier Link emails carefully.
Be sure to read everything in the offer of admission and all Hoosier Link emails thoroughly. If you have questions, contact Hoosier Link at iulink@iu.edu.
Accept your space as a Hoosier Link student.
Students will need to log in to their IU Portal and declare their intent to enroll by May 1. As part of the Hoosier Link program, students are not required to pay the enrollment deposit but do need to declare their intent to enroll.
Submit a General Application to Ivy Tech Bloomington.
Students must complete this step after declaring their intent to enroll. Applications are free and only take about 15 minutes to complete. Ivy Tech applications are due by May 15.
Set up an IU computing account.
Students will need their university ID number (included in their admission letter) to create an IU computing account, which they’ll use complete important tasks—like setting up parking permits.
Attend a Hoosier Link Info Session.
After declaring their intent to enroll, students—as well as families and supporters—will receive an invitation to attend a Hoosier Link Info Session. While we have both virtual and in-person options, students only need to attend one. We recommend attending together to learn more about the program—including the financial aspects of being a Hoosier Link student—and get your questions answered.
